Hero Balloon Flights is a luxury hot air balloon operator in Dubai, UAE, and AlUla, Saudi Arabia. Formerly known as Balloon Adventures Dubai, the company rebranded to align with its parent company, Hero Experiences Group.
Dubai Experiences
Operating from October 1 to May 31, the Dubai experience takes place over the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve, the only operator with permission to fly there.
Signature Experience: Includes a 45–60 minute sunrise flight, a drone show, an in-flight falconry performance, and a breakfast curated by a Michelin-starred chef at a private desert oasis.
Private Experience: Offers a private balloon and luxury Land Rover Defender 130 transfers for up to six guests.
The Dubai Balloon: A separate tethered helium balloon experience at Atlantis, The Palm, which rises up to 300 meters for city skyline views.
Key Features & Requirements
Safety & Logistics: Flights are sunrise-only due to weather conditions. Total experience duration is roughly 5–6 hours including transfers.
Guest Restrictions: Not permitted for pregnant women, children under age 7 (Dubai) or age 5 (AlUla), anyone with major surgery/broken bones in the last 6 months, or those with chronic back/neck pain.
Cancellations: Full refunds are available if cancelled up to 24 hours before the flight.
